Prescribed Checklist - Building contractors are required to provide you a copy of the Prescribed Checklist to help you become informed, see here for a copy
Completion Documents – Once your project is finished, your contractor must provide details about maintenance, warranties, and any ongoing insurance policies.
Defect Repair Period – You have an automatic 12-month period where any defects in workmanship must be fixed at no cost.
Implied Warranties – Even if not explicitly stated in your contract, the Building Act provides warranties that last for up to 10 years.
Penalties for Non-Compliance – Contractors can face fines if they fail to meet legal requirements.

Final Inspections & Code Compliance
Your project isn’t complete until the final Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) is issued. We ensure all work meets the required standards and provide the necessary documentation.
